Young people from different communities, together in Arieșeni
This year's edition brought together 16 students from the „Onisifor Ghibu” Theoretical High School in Oradea and 10 students from the Câmpeni-Abrud area, in a relaxed setting in the mountains, at Arieșeni.
One of the project's goals was to create a space where young people could learn from one another, share their experiences and build friendships beyond the communities they come from.
Three workshops on personal development
The educational programme included three interactive workshops, in which participants explored leadership, communication and public speaking.
The activities focused on learning by doing, practical exercises and teamwork. The students were challenged to think creatively, to work together, to stand up for their ideas and to see their own abilities from new angles.
We wanted every participant to leave RotaCamp not only with new knowledge, but also with more courage to take the initiative, to communicate and to get actively involved in their community.
More than workshops: friendships and memories
RotaCamp was not only about learning. The weekend also had time for socialising, recreational activities and a fun evening, which gave participants the chance to get to know each other better in an informal setting.
The relaxed atmosphere and the energy of the 26 young people turned the three days into an experience where education, fun and friendship went hand in hand.
Investing in the young people who will build tomorrow's community
Through RotaCamp, Rotaract Club Oradea continues its mission to support non-formal education and the personal development of young people.
We believe that learning opportunities should not stop at the classroom door, and that every young person deserves access to experiences that can reveal their potential and give them confidence in their own abilities.
At the end of the three days, we were left with the joy of having brought together 26 young people, with new friendships and with the motivation to keep developing projects like this one.
RotaCamp 2026. Learning together. Growing together. Building the future together.
