The process
How you become a member
We want every new member to be right both for our community and for what they hope to find in Rotaract. That is why joining is built on getting to know each other and on taking part.
You apply
You fill in the form and send us your CV and a short letter of intent. We want to learn who you are and what motivates you to join Rotaract Oradea.
We get to know each other
If your profile fits the club's values, one of our members will get in touch for an informal conversation. It is the perfect chance to know each other better and to answer your questions.
You become an aspiring member
You take part in the club's activities and projects as an aspiring member. During this time we get to know each other, work together and find out whether Rotaract is the right place both for you and for our community.
The members vote
At the end of the integration period, the club's active members vote on your admission. If the vote is favourable, you become an active member of Rotaract Oradea.

What people ask us most
How much time does it take?
Involvement differs from one project to another, but we want members who can take part in the club's activity consistently. On average that means one meeting a week, plus the projects you choose to support.
Is there a membership fee?
Yes. Active members pay a modest monthly fee, which goes towards running the club and belonging to the Rotaract community. Projects are funded separately, through sponsorships, partnerships and donations.
Can I come to a meeting before I apply?
The process starts by filling in the application form. If you would like to know us better before applying, we invite you to join one of the public projects or events organised by Rotaract Oradea.
What happens after I send the form?
We confirm by email, within two or three days, that your application arrived. It is then reviewed by the club team, and one of our members will contact you about the next steps.
Do I need volunteering experience?
No. We look for people who want to get involved, to learn and to contribute to the club's projects. Experience is built together, along the way.
