RotaCamp
RotaCamp is an educational project organised by Rotaract Club Oradea, dedicated to the personal development of young people through interactive workshops, team activities and nonformal learning experiences. The project encourages leadership, communication, collaboration and the building of new friendships.
About the project
RotaCamp is a nonformal education project initiated by Rotaract Club Oradea, through which we aim to offer young people opportunities for personal development and learning beyond the classroom.
Organised as an educational camp, the project brings together pupils from different communities, offering them the chance to take part in interactive workshops on leadership, public speaking, communication and teamwork.
Through practical exercises, challenges and group activities, participants are encouraged to discover their potential, build self-confidence, express their ideas and learn to collaborate effectively.
Beyond the educational component, RotaCamp places emphasis on socialising, exchanging experiences and building friendships, in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Through RotaCamp, we aim to invest in future generations, to inspire young people to become more confident and more involved, and to contribute to shaping future leaders active in their communities.
Objectives
- Soft skills for pupils who rarely get to practise them: teamwork, communication.
- A small group, small enough for everyone to get a turn.
- A weekend away from school, where learning happens differently.

High school students who participate in school olympiads or have very good school results.

Between 16–18 October 2026, Rotaract Club Oradea organised a new edition of the RotaCamp project, a weekend dedicated to personal development, learning and building new friendships, amid nature, in Arieșeni.

This project is run every year by Rotaract Oradea. Starting with the edition of the current Rotary year, we are building a complete digital archive of every edition, to document the impact and the way the project evolves over time.
