At the start of the school year, fully equipped school bags for children whose families cannot afford them.
About the project
Six years running, from 2020 to 2025, at the start of each school year. We collected donations and supplies, turned them into fully equipped school bags, and took them to children whose families could not afford them. The bag was complete, not half of one, because a pencil case without notebooks solves nothing. In 2026 the project is on pause, and the next edition does not have a date yet.
Objectives
- A complete school bag: supplies, notebooks, pencil case.
- Delivery at the start of the school year, when it is needed.
- No child standing out in class because of what is in their bag.
Who it is for
Schoolchildren in Oradea and Bihor county whose families cannot afford the start-of-year supplies.
